Paramount Pictures has come up with another science fiction movie “Arrival”. The movie displays a war like situation between aliens and our world.
The movie Arrival is an American 2016 science fiction drama film, written by Eric Heisserer and directed by Denis Villeneuve. The film is based on a short story named “Story of your life” written by the author Ted Chiang. Star cast of the movie Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker. The film has been premiered at the Venice Film Festival held on September 1, 2016. The film is going to be released for public in IMAX by Paramount Pictures on November 11, 2016. The principle photography of the film has taken place at Montreal, Quebec in June 7, 2015. The music of the movie has been composed by musician Johann Johannsson.
The movie starts with a multiple mysterious spacecraft that enters our globe as an unidentified thing. A team of experts has been organized to investigate the unwanted guest. The team is Headed by linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams), a mathematician Ian Donnelly (Jeremy Renner) and a US army Colonel (Forest Whitaker). Everybody is scared because there is an impending possibility of a global war and everyone is striving for the answer from the team about ‘how to cope up with the situation?’ Banks, Donnelly and Weber are taking their chance of lives to save the humanity from possible global threat. The movie is another Sci-Fi action drama and is full of VFX and special effects.
Teaser of the film was released August 2016 and just after it Paramount released the trailer of the movie in the following next week. Several posters are also released with one most popular is UFO over Hong Kong skies.
Running time of the movie is 116 minutes and the budget is $50 million. The film is jointly produced by Film Nation Entertainment, Lava Bear Films and 21 Laps Entertainment. The movie will be distributed in United States by Paramount Pictures and in rest of the world it will be distributed by Sony Pictures releasing. The cinematography of the movie is handled under the guidance of Bradford Young.
Review collector website Rotten Tomatoes has given the movie an approval rating of 1005 based on 15 reviews and it got a fantastic average rating of 8.2/10. On Metacritic, the movie has scored 78 out of 100 points on the basis of 12 critics; this indicates “generally favorable reviews” for the movie.
